workplace, new & previously unidentified hazards are identified, an occupational injury

Daily safety and health checks performed by supervisory staff.
Regular self-inspections and walk-throughs of the workplace to ensure that safe
work practices are being followed and unsafe conditions or procedures are
identified and corrected as soon as possible.
Teammates will notify their supervisor of possible hazardous situations. These
reports will be given prompt attention.
Monitor the operation of workplace equipment to make sure it is maintained in
safe and good working condition. Routine maintenance makes good safety
sense and proper maintenance can prevent costly breakdown or injury.
All workplace accidents or near-miss incidents will be investigated and reported.
This will help to identify the causes and needed corrections, determine why
accidents occur, where they happen, and any accident trends.
All hazards will be corrected as soon as they are identified. For any situations
that cannot be corrected immediately, a target date for correction will be set.
Interim protection will be provided if necessary.
Written reports will be maintained on all inspections, hazardous situations,
defective equipment, and near miss incidents. Respective corrective action will
be included in the report.
5.02 HEAT STRESS PREVENTION PLAN
TEAMWRKX Construction, Inc. is aware that workers employed outdoors are sometimes
required to work in harsh conditions which can produce hot working conditions. We
recognize the fact that high temperature, radiant heat from the sun, humidity and low
winds are major contributors to heat stress in work areas. It is our policy to follow
practices that can help reduce the effects of working in hot, humid conditions.
At TEAMWRKX we believe that the key to preventing excessive heat stress includes proper
training of Superintendents and all teammates to recognize heat stress signs, symptom
and related disorders. We will continue to reduce the risk of heat stress by ensuring that
first aid responders are trained to recognize, respond to, and treat heat stress disorders.
