subcontractor partners in complying with the minimum requirements of the Clients they are connected to
and/or facilities they are registered for, as well providing other helpful information to assist in the
development of successful safety programs that address potential exposure hazards for employees. The

PURPOSE
The purpose of this document is to provide a standard industry approach for establishing and implementing an
Arsenic program for COMPANY NAME; hereafter referred to as “The Company.” This section applies to all
occupational exposures to inorganic arsenic.
With the exception that this section does not apply to worker exposures in:
• Agriculture
• Resulting from pesticide application
• Treatment of wood with preservatives
• Utilization of arsenic preserved wood
SCOPE
This program applies to all workers, visitors, and contractors under company responsibility.
