If one must come in direct contact with the possibly infectious material, then
that teammate must use all proper PPE, namely use a barrier between the
teammate’s skin and the possibly infectious material.
After working on/near/around the possibly infectious material, the teammate
must thoroughly wash her/his hands with warm to hot water and soap for thirty
(30) seconds.
If a teammate comes in direct contact with possibly infectious material, and with
no protection, then they must thoroughly wash their affected body
part/clothing for thirty seconds in hot water and soap. They will be closely
monitored for any signs of infection. If they are infected, then they must be
taken to the emergency room at the nearest hospital.
Any teammates who come in direct contact with possibly infectious material
without protection will be disciplined at their supervisor’s discretion for not
following protocol.
Teammates must always ask for and receive consent prior to providing aid. If the
affected teammate is in a state where they cannot provide consent (e.g.,
unconscious, or not of sound mind), then the supervisor shall determine how to
best provide aid. When in doubt, emergency services are ALWAYS an option.

Revised: October 2023
A Teammate is prohibited from operating any vehicle without a valid driver's
license in their possession and only when specifically authorized to operate that
vehicle.
Furthermore, all operators must follow all traffic laws of the region in which they
are operating a motor vehicle.
Before operating motorized equipment, a check will be made of the following:
Taillights, head lights, turn-signal lights, mirrors, windshield wipers, back-up
alarms, and other safety related devices to ensure that all such equipment is
working and adjusted properly. When initially starting to move, the brakes
should be tested to ensure that they are functioning properly.
Any type of motor vehicle that is known to be in a seriously defective condition
must not be operated. All defective items, such as broken or missing parts,
excessive wear or faulty conditions must be promptly reported to management.
The driver shall not move the vehicle until all riders comply with safety
precautions and all loads are well secured.
No worker is allowed to ride outside of the cab of any truck unless they are
sitting flat on the bed with their back against the cab, and then only for short
distances on a job site.
Arms and legs should never be dangled over the sides. Workers should never
ride on fenders, tailgates, running boards, or loads. All riders must wear a
