Cooperate with your supervisor in preventing accidents and maintaining a clean
and safe workplace.
Learn and abide by all general safety rules and those specific to your particular
position.
Make safety suggestions to your supervisor or submit written suggestions on the
form provided.
Safeguard company equipment and immediately report unsafe or defective
equipment to your supervisor.
Wear personal protective equipment when appropriate.
Observe proper housekeeping practices at all times.
Be familiar with and abide by TEAMWRKX Construction, Inc.’s Illness Program
and Code of Safe Practices.
COMPLIANCE
TEAMWRKX Construction, Inc. considers the safety of our teammates to be of the utmost
importance. Therefore, to prevent incidents that result in injuries relating from unsafe
acts, it is our policy to strictly enforce Company safety rules. Violations/ infractions of
safety rules or disregard of any of the safety rules are sufficient grounds for disciplinary
action, ranging from verbal warning to immediate dismissal, depending on the violation and
at the sole discretion of the Company. A teammate will typically be given a chance to correct
his/her behavior, but the Company reserves the right to administer any performance
management action steps. Nothing written in this policy in any way alters the “at-will” status
of all Company teammates.
x Teammates creating a significant safety violation that is likely to cause serious
injury or death will result in immediate termination.
x Management is responsible to ensure that all safety and health policies are
clearly communicated and understood by all workers. Managers are expected
to enforce the rules fairly and uniformly, namely the Chief Safety Officer and
Office Manager.
x All workers are responsible to use safe work practices, to follow directions,
policies and procedures to assist in maintaining a safe work environment.
To maintain safety standards, jobsite inspections are conducted at all TXC jobsites.
These inspections are conducted by Safety Officers and are recorded in the S: drive.
4.0
SAFETY COMMUNICATIONS
Maintaining open communication between management and staff is an essential part of
our safety program. The following reporting procedures and disseminating safety
information has been developed to ensure a continuous flow of safety and health
information between management and staff.
