Teammates are encouraged to bring safety issues immediately to management’s
attention and are expected to halt operations and call their supervisor if unsafe actions
or conditions are encountered. No teammate will be allowed to return to the work area
until the unsafe action or condition is corrected.
All teammates will go through a new hire orientation process and receive training on
safety and health policies, practices, and or procedures. At a minimum, we will utilize
verbal and or written instruction during the process and all teammates will receive the
TEAMWRKX Construction, Inc. Teammate Safety Handbook.
The Injury & Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) and the company’s safety rules will be
periodically reviewed with teammates.
4.01 REPORTING HAZARDS
Teammates are encouraged to report unsafe conditions and there will be no reprisal for
reporting safety issues. Communication may be an anonymous note with information
about a specific job or activity
4.02 COMMUNICATION METHODS
Our methods of communication include, but are not limited to the following:
x Signs and posted notices of safety information
x Periodic safety and training meetings
x Written training materials and handouts
x Written and or verbal instruction from management, or the Safety Coordinator.
4.03 TRAINING METHODS
One of TEAMWRKX Construction’s core values is Wellspan, promoting the wellness of our
teammates for their lifespan. This involves providing and requiring all TXC field
teammates to be or become OSHA-30 certified (with construction specifically). This
training provides first aid training as well as training on how to identify job-site hazards
specifically relating to construction. All office teammates are also encouraged, but not
required, to be OSHA-certified; however, CPR and AED First-Aid Training is strongly
encouraged. All first aid providers must be certified by the American Red Cross (or
equivalent). TEAMWRKX’ main First Aid affiliate, aside from completing OSHA30 and
OSHA10 certifications, is BBSI, “Better Business Management Solutions”, which is an
organization that consults companies such as TEAMWRKX on safety matters.
